Re-live the golden age of American road trips and family adventures with this quintessential family cruiser! This 1978 Ford Country Squire Station Wagon is well maintained and in all-original condition.

Initially owned by a church on the west coast, and then stored for many years by a collector, this west coast wagon has only 53,565 original miles and is a true time-capsule!!

400ci V8. Runs, drives, shifts, stops 100%. Brand new tires and recent exhaust repair. AC has been converted and blows cold. No engine leaks or issues, minimal rust (one spot on pass door, some surface corrosion underneath), mechanically sound – I wouldn’t hesitate to take this across country. NH Safety inspection is current.

Paint & panels show chips, fading, and wear, but body is extremely clean and straight with only two small dents. Window seals could use some attention. Interior has new OEM plush red carpeting, blue-tooth connectivity to original radio, USB Ports, and new rear speakers. It is all original and in overall great shape aside from a tear in the bottom drivers door vinyl and fading/wear in the rear interior panels.

This iconic wagon turns heads and gets MANY compliments wherever I go! SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!! No Trades/Low Ballers. AS-IS private sale - cash, wire transfer, or bank check only. Can assist with shipping arrangements. If this ad is up the wagon is still available so please don’t ask!

I was born in a '78 Ford wagon like this. Except it was red. (Born as in actually came out in the back when my mother couldn't get to the hospital in time in January 1979) A police officer and a nurse were both on the same road. Couldn't have been better luck than to be in our '78 when this happened. Have wanted one as I've gotten older.

Seller doesn't list a price. Or where this is located.

Nice selection of music. For some reason the theme song from the TV show "The Love Boat" comes to mind -- "a course for adventure" and many more can be navigated in this LTD. The drive video reminded me on the '78 Chevrolet Impala wagon I used to go for cruises in along Pacific Coast Highway in California.
